Cookie Policy

1) WHO SETS THESE COOKIES
The controller is Redactalo AI, S.L. (“Ploot”), tax ID B22721260, registered at Calle Lepant, 270, 08013 Barcelona, Spain. You can write to us at team@ploot.ai.
This policy complements the Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with personal data.
2) WHAT A COOKIE IS
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser to remember something between pages or between visits. Here we also call cookies other technologies that do the same thing even if technically they aren't, such as browser local storage or tracking pixels: what matters is the effect, not the name.
3) WHICH COOKIES WE USE
Necessary
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Ploot | Remembers the language you chose so we don't have to ask again on every visit. | 1 year |
| ploot_consent | Ploot | Stores your cookie choice (which categories you accept and when) so we don't ask again and can evidence it. | 1 year |
| __vercel_live_token, load-balancing cookies | Vercel | Serve the site and spread traffic across servers. | Session |
Without these the site does not work properly, so they cannot be turned off from here.
Analytics
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 | Counts visits and measures which pages get read, in aggregate. | 2 years |
Advertising and campaign measurement
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| li_sugr, bcookie, lidc, UserMatchHistory | LinkedIn Insight Tag | Measures which LinkedIn campaigns bring visits and allows ads to be shown to people who have been here before. | Session to 2 years |
| _fbp | Meta (Facebook Pixel) | Measures which Meta campaigns bring visits and sign-ups (page view, contact and registration) and allows ads to be shown to people who have been here before. | 90 days |
| GTM-M2SZV4WB container | Google Tag Manager | Doesn't measure anything itself: it is the container the Meta pixel loads from. It only loads if you accept advertising cookies. | Depends on the tag it loads |
Company identification and embedded third parties
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| No cookie | Albacross | Identifies the visiting company from its IP address. Our server makes the call to their API, so no script is loaded and nothing is stored on your device. | Not applicable |
| No cookie (our own analytics) | Ploot | Records the page visited, the referring page, the browser and the IP address to learn which companies visit us. Nothing is stored on your device. The IP address is kept for 7 days and then replaced with a pseudonymised value. More detail in the Privacy Policy. | Not applicable |
| Calendly cookies | Calendly | Only if you open the calendar to book a demo. Calendly sets them on its own domain. | Per Calendly |
4) HOW TO TURN THEM OFF
You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Each one calls it something different, but they all allow it: Chrome and Edge under Settings → Privacy and security, Firefox under Settings → Privacy & Security, and Safari under Preferences → Privacy.
Some providers also have their own opt-out: Google Analytics opt-out add-on and LinkedIn guest controls.
If you turn off analytics or advertising cookies, the site still works exactly the same: we just stop knowing which pages get read and which campaigns bring visits.
5) TRANSFERS AND RETENTION
Google, LinkedIn, Meta and Calendly are US providers and may process data outside the European Economic Area, covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Albacross is European.
The durations in the table are the ones each provider declares and may change without any action on our part.
6) CHANGES
If we add or remove a tool, we update this page and its date. We recommend checking it every now and then.
